THE BASICS
Hey there, thanks for visiting my small corner of the internet! My name is ZaZu and I’m a writer, musician and social media manager based in Los Angeles.
My work is focused on building community: helping people connect with themselves and with others, inspiring critical conversations and trying to create moments of joy every day.
A love for storytelling in many forms has led me to pursue a career in communications, crafting narratives for brands and educational institutions that build positive social change. Currently, I’m supporting the next generation of communicators and change makers — and sharing impactful research and advancements shaping the future — as the Social Media and Digital Communications Specialist at USC Annenberg.
I’m also a big music nerd, and am working on a couple of songwriting projects along with starting a Substack — stay tuned! Beyond my professional and creative work, I love to dance (I’ve been taking ballet classes for 23 years!), wander around museums, hike and explore nature, read, discover and share new music and spend lots of time with friends and family.
