BRINGING PR TO PODCASTS

#PRFuture Podcast

In spring 2020, as the world shut down, the USC Center for Public Relations was searching for a way to share information on the rapidly-evolving state of the communications industry, and the #PRFuture podcast was born. From humble beginnings on Zoom recordings to now, the #PRFuture podcast from the USC Center for Public Relations (CPR) shares the latest trends and provides insight into the future of public relations and strategic communication. Produced at the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism and hosted by CPR Director and Golin Chairman Emeritus Fred Cook, #PRFuture features discussions with communication executives, academics, students and more as part of our mission to define the future of our industry and to develop those who will shape it. As co-creator and executive producer from 2020-2022, I led all content production, from interview question brainstorming and recording to scripting, writing accompanying copy and strategizing social promotion and external outreach.

IT’S A MUSICAL!

EXPLORING MUSICAL THEATRE PODCASTING

“Dress Rehearsal” was my senior thesis project in the Media Arts and Practice division of the USC School of Cinematic Arts, as a series to explore the process of writing a musical with experts who are involved in the musical theatre industry.

Project displayed at the USC 20th Century Fox Soundstage, May 2022.
